William Maddux is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and an Edward M. O’Herron Scholar.

Prior to coming to UNC Kenan-Flagler, Prof. Maddux was on the faculty at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France for 11 years. He has also held visiting faculty positions at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Professor Maddux holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Ohio State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Johns Hopkins University. Between university and graduate school, he also spent several years living and working in Japan.
